I get the same feeling of excited anticipation for London Design Week every year. Heading west along Kings Road towards Chelsea Harbour, at first the interior design showrooms are few and far between, but before long it seems that every shop window is showing some exciting new fabric or innovative new furniture piece that makes my heart beat just that little bit faster.
I am always looking out for current trends and indicators as to where design is heading for the coming year and London Design Week is a great place start looking, with the theatrical unveiling of all the new collections.
The 2016 show got off to a strong start as I popped in to Designers Guild first and then on to Osborne and Little, just over the road.
Time always gets away from me when I look through new collections, so I jumped in a car over to Chelsea Harbour. Here are a few more highlights...
