Wall & Dećo debuted their ‘Out – Outdoor Unconventional Textures‘ collection earlier this year at the Fuorisalone design week in Milan. The three part process consists of an adhesive, a technical fabric and a finishing process allowing large scale reproductions of a particular design or photo on outdoor surfaces.
I have always loved the idea of playing with the gap between internal space and outdoor spaces, making them coherent with each other. Wall & Dećo give a new dimension to outdoor spaces and I’m all for it in the right space!

I suspect that this will be more popular in times to come. I recently read an article about Farrow & Ball having wallpapered their three storey shopfront in New York but for the life of me I cannot find the article now…
